Andrea Laszlo De Simone is an Italian singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, arranger, and producer from Turin. A self-taught and discreet artist, he crafts a refined brand of Italian pop that blends influences from classical music to electronic sounds.

He debuted in 2012 with "Ecce Homo", an experimental self-produced album. In 2017, he released “Uomo Donna”, which Rolling Stone later ranked among the best Italian records of the past twenty years.

In 2020, his EP "Immensità" offered a cosmic journey between pop and classical music. It met with critical and public acclaim, especially in France, where the eponymous track received national radio airplay and was praised by major media outlets.

By the end of 2020, Immensità was ranked third in Les Inrockuptibles' year-end list and became the most played track on France Inter. He went on to release Dal giorno in cui sei nato tu, Vivo, and I Nostri Giorni, further strengthening his presence on French airwaves.

In 2023, acclaimed filmmaker Thomas Cailley invited him to compose the original score for Le Règne Animal. This collaboration earned him the César Award for Best Original Score in 2024, cementing his status as one of today’s leading contemporary composers.

On October 17, 2025, Andrea Laszlo De Simone unveiled his long-awaited fourth album, Una Lunghissima Ombra — a remarkable 17-track record blending Italian songwriting, orchestral pop, and cinematic breath. Expansive yet intimate, it reveals a new depth in his artistry, weaving emotion, atmosphere and meticulous craft into a work of rare elegance.
